About Me andThis Blog

Dum vivimus, vivamus, Horace (Since we are living, let us live well)

The questions on the purpose to human existence are always an adage especially to those people who are “existentialist” by nature. I consider myself as one of them. I always ask myself, why do I exist? If I exist, what are then the reason and my purpose? Is our existence, our life, nothing but a random event? Those were the questions that I am uncertain. Uncertainties that are blur by vision and mission but I know it is measurable and attainable. I hate to say this, but it seems those uncertainties are “somewhere out there” until I found myself doing something which are off help to others.

I always complain with what I see or with what I observe but I’m sure these are all part of my search for the purpose of “life and being”. I don’t know if it will make sense but let me unleash my complaint. There were people who always think of the goodness of others. But they set rules, standards for themselves and implement the most irritating DO’s and DON’Ts knowing that there were existing rules and standards to be followed. In short those people who always dictates me what to do and what not. I am in a dilemma that rather helping me to appease my heart and mind, it imprisoned me in a life that I don’t know if I can live with. That I can’t even lift a finger to help myself survive even a single day. I have to say this, “they” always dictate what to do and what not but they themselves go against with it. What a FALLACY? Huh…. The question is, shall I continue living in a world that are full of uncertainties and jump in an abyss about the question of life? Or step in plain valley of certainty and dig in a rough ground to let loose of the life of happiness.

They said, I can do this and can do that (“kaya mo yan, di naman ibibigay sayo kung di mo kaya”), the mere fact that I said “I can’t do this” meaning I have tried pushing myself to the limits considering all the circumstances that enfolds the given situation. Yes, it is a word of encouragement. Nevertheless, it is a word that can mislead a person to do something else. It can maybe create an atmosphere of “over self confidence” and “hate”. Perhaps it can help a person to push himself to the limits achieving the greatest reward of his life. The key word for this?..“READINESS and HAPPINESS.”

Readiness in all aspect of our lives! Let loose of thy self and perform the “herculean task”. Now, what is the relationship between readiness and herculean task? Let me tell you…
It is not enough that you’re doing well in your job and you are in position. Have you realized that though you’re doing well in your job and you are in position you’re stepping on others and it makes you a bad person?
It is not enough that you are in relationship and claim that you’re getting stronger. Have you realized that you absorbed your partner’s strength?
It is not enough that you have friends and you ate and drink with them. Huh? Have you shared your life and vulnerability with them?
It is not enough that you have family and claim that you are a good provider. Have you spent quality time with them?

What makes this a combination of readiness and herculean task? Are you ready for a big leap? This is our herculean task and our Achilles hill. RADIATE HAPPINESS! It takes a full readiness in every aspect of our lives. Every change makes count.
I wonder what will happen if you’re…
doing well in your job and you are in position if everyone is happy including you.
in relationship and you shared each other’s strength and weaknesses.
sharing with your friends your life and vulnerability.
good provider and spent quality time with your family
I think the search for the meaning and purpose of life ends here. All you have to do is be ready and let loose of thy self and perform the “herculean task”. RADIATE HAPPINESS!
